Hello

Greetings!!

Having resisted the urge for long enough, I have decided to cave to the desire to purge my thoughts to the online knitting community. I am not a regular journal writer, so this venture may be a challenge for me, but one that I look forward to.

Firstly, a little bit of background - Me: I am lucky enough to live on the Surfcoast in Victoria (Australia, can you pick which beach it is??) and am just beginning the final year of my PhD (yes, yes, I know that starting a blog now would be construed by most as yet another attempt of avoidance!!). Knitting History: My lovely mum was a big knitter in the 70's and early 80's and taught me to knit as a youngster. I rediscovered the art a few years ago whilst hibernating during a North Eastern US winter and have not stopped since. My alias comes from the two obsessions in my life (at the moment anyway): the brain and knitting. All will be explained along the way!
