WIP's
I never thought that my knitting and work worlds would collide, however I have been enjoying a recent bout of knitting based conversations with a coworker who has recently rediscovered her needles. After several chats about good LYSs and some demonstrations of DPNs and circulars (I've been knitting a lot of hats and socks lately), she sighed and said that it would be a while before she could think about anything else as her current WIP would take her forever. She seemed to think that she was only allowed to have one WIP going at a time!! I don't know what rules other knitters generally follow, but I certainly have more that one project on my needles at once, plus many more waiting in the wings.
For example, right now I am knitting
Jess in Jo Sharp Aran Tweed
Jaywalkers in Fleece Artist (definately have SSS with this pair)
Shining Star in lots of different yarns
Pomatomus in Lorna's Laces
Lips in Rowan wool cotton
And waiting in the wings (ie pattern and yarn purchased, (mostly) swatched etc, not just wishful lusting)
Orangina
Mauve (when I learn to crochet properly!)
Jemima
Deep V Argyle Vest
Fad Classic (yes I am addicted to vests at the moment)
plus more....
Just in case you were wondering, I do actually finish projects, and hopefully will have them posted soon.
